Ipswich: Bookies Robbed

Police are looking for two men who carried out a robbery on a bookies in Ipswich.

Police were called at around 4.15pm this afternoon, Thursday 25 April to reports that a robbery had taken place at a bookmakers in Felixstowe Road, Ipswich.

Two men are reported to have entered the building and threatened staff with a knife before taking money from behind the counter. It is unknown at this stage whether weapons were used or how much money was taken.  No one was hurt in the incident.

One suspect is described as a white man, in his late teens/ early 20s, of slim / medium build, wearing a dark hooded top and a scarf.  The second is described as being white, of stocky build, wearing a grey zip-up, hooded top.  The men were seen to leave the premises in the direction of Levington Road.
