Ipswich: Charge After Stabbing

Police have charged a man from Ipswich in relation to a stabbing in Gibbons Street.

A man had to be taken to hospital after it happened on Tuesday 3rd July. 

Two people were arrested on Tuesday 10th  July at a property in Clifton Street, Norwich.

21-year-old Patrick Smith from Thackeray Road in Ipswich has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. He is now due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court this afternoon. 

An 18-year-old woman from Norwich, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on police bail and is now due to return to the Wymondham Police Investigation Centre on 30 August.

22-year-old Tyren Brooks from Elliot Street in Ipswich has already been charged with GBH in connection with it.
