Ipswich: Man Stabbed Outside Pub

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Ipswich on the evening of Saturday 10th December.

Following an altercation in a pub on Radcliffe Drive two men left the premises only to return a few minutes later at around 11:05pm in a dark coloured BMW. One of the men then got out of the passenger side, approached another man and stabbed him on his left side. He then got back into the car and it was driven off.

The victim, a 34-year-old, went to Ipswich Hospital but his injury is not thought to be serious and he was due to be discharged yesteday.

The offender is described as white, around 5ft 8ins, between 23-24 years old, with blonde hair and wearing a long sleeved grey top.

Police later discovered a BMW they suspect to be the one used by the offender in Poppy Close, Ipswich.

Anyone who may know the identity of the offender or saw the vehicle being left in Poppy Close is asked to call DC Victoria Mitchell at Ipswich CID on 101.
