Ipswich: Man Tries To Rob Securicor Guard

Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a Securicor guard on Princes Road in Ipswich this morning.

Officers were contacted just after 11:45am after a man tried to grab a cash box from the male staff member outside Barclays bank in Princes Street. The man was unsuccessful and left in the direction of the Cornhill.

The man is described as black, of slim build, wearing a light coloured possibly grey hat with flaps over his ears, a dark top with a white strip down the arm, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

An ambulance was called for the Securicor officer who was in shook but has no serious injuries.
