Ipswich: Park Sexual Assault Report

Police are investigating reports of a woman being sexually assaulted in a park in Ipswich by two men.

Police received a call Saturday morning, reporting that a woman was sexually assaulted in Ipswich during the early hours.

Just before 6:45am police received the call giving details of the victim being attacked by two men in Christchurch Park.

The incident is said to have occurred sometime between 2:30am and 5am.

The woman is currently being given assistance by specially trained officers.
