Ipswich: Police CCTV of Robberies

Ipswich police are issuing a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with two robberies at Ipswich newsagents.

It happened at around 9.05pm on Sunday night the man entered the premises on Grimwade Street, Ipswich, he approached the shop owner and demanded cash whilst threatening him with a knife.

He ran from the shop with a cash, alcohol and cigarettes.

The man is described as white, 5’6’ tall, 20-25 years old and he had a tattoo on the back of his right hand. He wore a black hooded top.

The man is also being linked to another robbery, which happened earlier in the evening at approximately 6.55pm also at a Newsagents in St Helens Street, Ipswich.

The man entered the shop and threatened the owner with a knife whilst demanding cash.

He left with a quantity of cash.
