Ipswich: Shopworker threatened with gun

Two men armed with a gun have attempted to rob a convenience store in Ipswich.

At approximately 9.45pm on Monday 23rd October, two black men entered the Spar shop on Woodbridge Road, Ipswich.

They approached the female shop worker and demanded money from the till, whilst doing so, one of the men threatened her with what appeared to be handgun.

Both men left the shop without any money.

The first man is described as black, around 6ft tall and of stocky build, he wore a grey long sleeved top.

The second man is described as black and wore a dark track suit top with the hood up and matching tracksuit bottoms.

Both men had their faces covered.

 

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw these two men or who any information which can help with the investigation. Calls should be made to Ipswich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
