Ipswich: Three Arrested After Attack On 17-Year-Old

A 17-year-old's suffered serious head and back injuries after an attack in Ipswich.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following the incident in in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to Norwich Road at 2.48am by the ambulance service who were treating a 17-year-old boy with injuries to his back and head.

He has been taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious but not life-threatening.

Part of Norwich Road and Blenheim Road have been closed to traffic this morning whilst police carry out inquiries there, but it's believed Norwich Road has now reopened.

Three men have been arrested and are currently awaiting questioning at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
