Ipswich: Two Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder

Police in Ipswich are continuing to question two men on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police arrested the pair following a serious assault in Ipswich yesterday afternoon.

The ambulance service called police at around 3:20pm to a property in Garrick Way, Ipswich where a woman was found unconscious with serious injuries.

The woman has been taken to Ipswich Hospital in a critical condition.

A 55-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested on scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

A second man, also from Ipswich, was arrested a short time later in Cromer Road on suspicion of attempted murder.

They have been taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they are being questioned.
