Ipswich: Woman Dies After Being Found In Smoke-FIlled House
A woman in her 70s has died after being found collapsed in a house in Ipswich.
Emergency services found the woman at a house in St Edmunds Road at 11.35pm last night and died in hospital today.
She had collapsed in the home and it was filled with smoke but there were no signs of a fire.
Suffolk Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and the Health and Safety Executive are all now investigating what happened.
A cordon is still in place around the house.
The Coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow, Saturday 8 December.
