Lakenheath: 22-Year-Old Man Killed In Crash Named
A man who died after the car he was in came off the road in Lakenheath is being named by police as John Scott.
Police were called to the scene of the crash along the Undley Road, Beck Row Common, Lakenheath at around 5.45am on Saturday morning.
A blue Ford Focus had collided with a tree and the 22 year old passenger, John Joe Scott from Wingfield Road, Lakenheath was did at the scene.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and have arrested the 20-year-old driver of the car on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol and causing death by dangerous driving.
He is on bail and is due to return to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on 18 December 2013.
