Two men and a woman have been charged after police uncovered a cannabis factory in Long Melford.

1,300 cannabis plants were found when officers raided a residential property on Withindale Lane on Friday 21 June.

The drug warrant was carried out after suspicious activity was reported to police.

Hoc Nguyen, aged 18, Hung Tran, aged 18 and Dung Hoangh, aged 22, all from Mill House in Long Melford were taken to Bury Police Investigation Centre and charged with producing cannabis.

Tran was also charged with another count of producing cannabis relating to an incident in Warwickshire between 03/01/2011 and 03/04/2011.

All three appeared before Ipswich Magistrates Court on Saturday 22 June.
