Lowestoft: Four Men Charged With Fraud

Four men have been charged with fraud after incidents in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.

Police say they were called to a bank on London Road North in Lowestoft on Thursday afternoon.

27-year-old Roberto Alcantara of Knatchbull Road, north-west London, 34-year-old Rimantas Balciunas of Humphreys Road, Cambridge, Saheed Akinbile, a 32-year-old man from Caspian Way, Purfleet and 30-year-old Sabastine Ihonor of Cowden Street, south-east London are all charged with 2 counts of fraud by false representation.

Staff at the bank became suspicious and called police after two men tried to access a bank account.  Officers seized a counterfeit driving licence.

A similar incident was reported in Great Yarmouth on Thursday.

The men appeared in Ipswich Magistrates Court yesterday morning and are due at Lowestoft Magistrates Court in January.
