Man Assaulted On Farm

Two men who were thought to be holding guns have assaulted a man on a farm.

It happened at a premises off the B1117 in Ubbeston in Suffolk at around 3.30pm yesterday, Tuesday 13th of September.

A silver/blue Mitsubishi Shogun pulled up at the property and two men got out. One of the two then approached a 47-year-old man who was on the site and punched him in the face. Both men then got back into the vehicle and drove away. It's thought both men were carrying firearms but these were not pointed at the 47-year-old during the incident. He sustained swelling to his lip following the assault.

Police are working to trace the men involved and are asking anyone who may have seen a similar vehicle in the area around this time, or anyone with information about the men, to call PC 1270 Jones on 01473 613500.
