Man bailed over Fancy Dress Fight

The street fights happened near Jokers in Stowmarket early on Sunday.

The first one happened near the nightclub shortly before 4am where two men were involved in a fight with four others on Ipswich Street. The two groups of men separated and then met up again on Hollingsworth Road at 4.15am. It was here that a man was attacked and taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.

A 26 year old man handed himself in to police later that day and has been bailed till August 14th

A 25 year old man's still in a stable condition in Ipwsich hospital with a fractured cheekbone, a 23 year old man has minor injuries.

Police will be speaking to man's friends this week
