Officers from Acle Road Policing have charged a Lowestoft man with obstructing police after a laser jamming device was found in a car.

Police were carrying out speed checks on the A47 at Brundall yesterday when the speed gun they were using failed to lock onto a vehicle which was then stopped and the driver arrested.

43-year-old Anthony Taylor from Noel Road in Lowestoft has been charged with obstructing police and using a vehicle with insufficient tyre tread. He has been bailed and will appear before Norwich Magistrates Court on November 1.
