Man Jailed For Murdering Girlfriend

The 29 year old man stabbed his 36 year old girlfriend to death.

Drug addict John Grimwood from Canham Street in Ipswich has been jailed after stabbing Alison Studd to death in January. In a separate attack on the same day he left another woman with scars after slashing her with a craft knife.

Grimwood walked free from court in August last year after being found not guilty of killing Rose Hunt in Ipswich. But after attacks earlier this year he was today ordered to serve a minimum of 20 years in prison.
