Police have given Heart pictures of a man they want to speak to after a report of a sexual assault in Newmarket.
Police investigating an allegation of sexual assault in Newmarket are releasing CCTV images of a man they would like to contact in relation to the incident.
Officers received a report from a 21-year-old woman that an incident had occurred in a car park in Queensbury Road between 2:30am and 4:15am on Sunday 8 January.
The woman had been out with friends in the town when she went to collect belongings from her car located in the car park. She stated that a man had walked with her and when the pair reached the vehicle she was attacked.
Two CCTV images are now being released of a man police believe may be able to help with their enquiries. Both were taken in De Neros nightclub where the victim had been during the evening.
Police are appealing to this man or anyone who recognises him to contact Detective Inspector Nick Power at Bury St Edmunds CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Anyone with information in relation to the incident can also use the above contact details.
