Norfolk/Suffolk: Snow Is On Its Way

Snow is being forecast for today and tomorrow, with the heaviest flurries expected to be tomorrow afternoon.

Today could also see a few flakes falling though.

There's a Yellow Weather Warning for snow in England on Monday from the Met Office.  Most of that snow is expected to reach Suffolk and Norfolk by the afternoon.

Up to 5 centimetres could fall in places and the Met Office say there is still a lot of uncertainty about the amount of snow coming our way.

The Highways Agency said it is "well prepared" for winter conditions, adding that a fleet of 500 state-of-the-art winter vehicles were on standby.

A spokeswoman said: "Our roads will be treated whenever there is a risk of ice or snow. However, even when roads have been treated, drivers should still take care, especially on stretches where the local road layout or landscape means there could be a greater risk of ice forming."
