Stowmarket: Teenager Arrested for GBH

A teenager has been arrested after a man suffered cuts to his face outside a pub in Stowmarket.

Police say they were called after an altercation at the Queens Head pub on Station Road West between 10.30pm and 11.00pm on Friday night.

A 43-year-old suffered cuts to his face and was treated in West Suffolk Hospital.

A 19-year-old from Stowupland was arrested on suspicion of wounding/GBH and been bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around this time who may have seen any part of the incident. If you can help please call DC 643 Rolt on 101.
