Suffolk: Cash Machine Stolen

A cash machine's been stolen from outside a petrol station in Bury St Edmunds this morning.

Police are appealing for information after a cash machine was damaged and its contents stolen in Bury St Edmunds during the early hours of this morning, Monday 13 February.

At around 3:35am a white van drove onto the fore court of a petrol station on Newmarket Road, Bury St Edmunds. It is believed the vehicle was then attached to the front of a machine and used to pull it off. The contents of the cash machine was then stolen before the van was driven away along Newmarket Road in the direction of Glasswells.

Police have cordoned off the scene as the investigation gets underway but are appealing for anyone who may have seen the van before or after the incident or has information in relation to those involved to get in touch immediately.
