Suffolk Head Angry Over GCSE Blame

A head teacher from Suffolk says he's angry teachers are being blamed for the GCSE results fiasco this summer.

A headteacher from our region says he's furious about allegations teachers are to blame for this summers GCSE results fiasco.

The exams regulator's claiming some teachers overmarked coursework to boost results which meant exam boards had to up the grade boundaries, which meant thousands of children got lower grades than they expected.

Geoff Barton is head of King Edward 6th school in Bury St Edmunds and is part of the national group challenging the government over the results.

He says teachers arent to blame....
