Suffolk: Man Arrested After 12-Year-Old Girl Approached

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of a sexual offence after a 12-year-old girl was approached in Elmswell in Suffolk.

On Wednesday 17 April a man followed a 12-year-old girl out of a park and into Borley Crescent, where he made inappropriate gestures and suggestions to her. 

A 21-year-old man from the Elmswell area was arrested this morning, Thursday 18 April and taken to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre, where he currently remains. 

Anyone who has any information in relation to this or any similar offences is asked to contact Mid Suffolk South Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
