Suffolk: Prisoner Still Missing

25 October 2012, 06:00

Suffolk Police are asking for our help to trace a prisoner who's been missing since the beginning of the month.

Lee Chapman, 34, who was serving a life sentence for robbery and arson, was last seen at the prison at 6am on Monday 8 October and was found to be missing around 8.20am.

Chapman has connections to the Peterborough area and is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of slim to medium build with brown hair and blue eyes.

It is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time he went missing.

If anyone sees Chapman they should phone the police with the details. They should not approach him or take any further action.

Anyone who may have seen him, or who may have information about where he is now should contact Suffolk Police or their nearest police station using the new national number 101.
