Suffolk: Stone Thrown From Bridge

Police are investigating after a car windscreen was smashed by a stone being thrown off a bridge on the A12 yesterday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the windscreen of a black Vauxhall Corsa was smashed by a stone yesterday, Wednesday 7 November.

The incident happened at approximately 8am on the A12 at the bridge in Bentley. The female victim was driving westbound towards Colchester, when a stone was dropped from the bridge, causing damage to her windscreen.

The driver was not injured from the incident.

The offenders are described as two male teenagers, aged approximately 18-years-old and wearing dark hooded tops.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to call PC Nikki Holley from Ipswich on 101.
