Suffolk: Vehicles Damaged at A14 Bridge

An ambulance has been left with a cracked windscreen after reports items were thrown from a bridge over the A14 in Suffolk at Trimley St Martin.

Suffolk Police had four reports of vehicles being damaged last night after unknown objects were  thrown from a flyover.

The calls came in from 4.30pm over a 20-minute period, Two lorries have sustained damage to a window and a cab, an ambulance has sustained a cracked windscreen and a car has also sustained damage to a side window.

No one has been injured in these incidents.

Police searched the area along the A14 with the assistance of Air Support using the police helicopter.

Anyone who has information in relation to these incidents or saw a person or persons acting suspiciously near to the Trimley St Mary flyover are asked to call Suffolk Police on 101 or Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.
