Teenager Out Of Chilean X Factor

A 19-year-old year old from Thetford who was tipped to win this year's X Factor in Chile has been telling Heart that he has been knocked out of the compeition.

Charlie Bick  - who used to be a chorister - is studying Spanish out in the capital of Santiago at the moment, but went along to the auditions when the people he lives with told him he should go after hearing him sing.

For his first audition he sang Robbie Williams, 'Angels' but then the judges asked him to sing in Spanish - which he did. He then got a 'Yes' from all four judges to be put through to the Boot Camp Stage.

He then managed to get through to the live finals but in the second show he found himself in the bottom two after singing 'I Gotta Feeling' by the Black Eyed Peas with his band. The judges then decided to vote the group out of the competition.

However, Charlie told Heart that it's not the end of the line and that the future is looking quite good: "I was straight into talking contracts to appear in a new show, another singing competition, and so that happened the next morning. By the end of the afternoon I had found myself in a new programme. It was like an emotional rollercoaster because I was over the moon."

Charlie says he's also got some offers to record songs with the girls he sings with in his band.

He told us it can get quite surreal having so much attention: "I went to the third live show just to support the other singers and as I was walking in and out of the studio, people were still wanting to have photos with me and that's quite strange, but it's also at the same time, it's really nice becuase I hardly get any negative feedback."
