Two teenage girls have told police they've been sexually assaulted in a park

It happened when the two 13-year-old girls were playing basketball with their friends in a park area on Bramford Lane in Ipswich on Tuesday evening between 6pm and 8pm. They were approached by two men, who then joined the game.

During the game the men touched the girls inappropriately on two separate occasions, causing them to feel uncomfortable. The men also grabbed one of the girl's arms, causing bruising, before then leaving the area.

The first man is described as pale, approximately 5ft 5ins, around 30 years old, of thin build, with short straight dark brown hair. He was wearing a plain short-sleeved t-shirt, with black shoes and black socks. The second man is described as aged around 40 years old, of medium build, with a small amount of short hair and hairy legs. He is also described as having a scar across his forehead above his eyebrows, another under his left eye and a third on his right cheek/jaw line, all of which were a pink/purple colour and looked fresh.

Calls in relation to this incident should be made to DC Caroline Spurling at Ipswich CID on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
