Run The Brighton Half Marathon For Make Some Noise
On February 28th 2016 the Vitality Brighton Half Marathon returns for its 26th year, proudly supported by Heart.
Organised by The Sussex Beacon, the race is now one of the most popular half marathons in the UK, and is part of the Vitality Run Series, a seven run series of half marathons and a 10K.
Entries for the Vitality Brighton Half Marathon have now sold out, but you can still take part with Heart’s charity Global’s Make Some Noise.
Tom, Nicola and Jack from Heart Breakfast are each putting a team together for the 13 mile challenge, and you can join one of their teams right now.
By taking part you’ll be helping our charity to change young lives across the UK, including here in Sussex & Surrey.
We do this by supporting specially selected projects up and down the country, which deliver life-changing work to children & young people affected by illness, disability or lack of opportunity. They may be small, operating on a shoestring, or tackling an issue that is little understood. One of these projects is Whoopsadaisy. Based in Preston Park, they help children with physical disabilities live life as independently as possible. Find out more about them here.
To enter Team Tom, Team Nicola or Team Jack, you need to pay a £30 non-refundable registration fee, and commit to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship for Global’s Make Some Noise.
We’ll then support you all the way up to race day with training tips, fundraising ideas and some surprises too. Plus as a thank you, when you reach £100 in your fundraising we’ll send you a Global’s Make Some Noise running vest to wear with pride for the rest of your training and on the big day itself.
So what are you waiting for – enter now!
