Brighton Wheel Gets Go Ahead
Planners have given permission for a 45 metre high ferris wheel on Brighton seafront.
The Brighton Wheel will be built to the east of the Palace Pier.
36 carriages will carry up to 280 people at a time.
It's predicted the £6m attraction will create at least 30 full time jobs. Developers hope it will attract 250,000 people a year.
Construction will begin immediately, with the attraction expected to open during the peak summer season.
