Crash in Brighton kills two people

Police are continuing their investigation into a crash that kept the A259 closed for over eight and a half hours on Tuesday.

The motorcyclist and pillion passenger who were killed in a collision on the A259 yesterday (29 June) have now been formally identified.

Daniel Easom, 25, and passenger Katie Orgles, 25, both of Radbone Close, Worthing, died in a collision outside the King Alfred Leisure Centre at around 1am.

Both died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
