Man Goes Missing From Care In Crawley
Police are searching for Richard McNaught, who is wanted after absconding from care in Crawley.
The 45-year-old, who has a history of violence and disorder, escaped from his carer after being taken for a day out at Tilgate Park on Wednesday (8 June).
Police were contacted shortly after he went missing at about 2pm. The NPAS police helicopter assisted in a search of the area, but there was no trace and he remains outstanding at this stage.
Officers are concerned for Richard as he is not familiar with the area and he only has a small amount of change in his possession. It is believed he may have attempted to visit a pub in the area.
Richard is described as a white man of proportionate build, about 5' 7”, with a shaved head, a goatee beard, and tattoos on his right arm and hands.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with an image of a woman in a bathing suit, a dark jumper tied around the waist and green shoes.
Anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him, but to contact police on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 101, quoting serial 982 of 08/06.
