Oxted: Landslip Closes Rail Line

A landslip at Oxted means that the line between Oxted and Woldingham is likely to be closed for the rest of the week.

It means an amended train service on the East Grinstead and Uckfield lines south of Woldingham will be in place from Tuesday 11th February.

Rail replacement buses will also be in place on these lines to connect passengers travelling between stations south of Woldingham and London.

Train services between Uckfield and Oxted for Tuesday 11th February 2014

There will be an hourly train service from Uckfield to Oxted, leaving Uckfield at 34 minutes past the hour. The first train will be at 04.37, the last train will be at 23.37. All trains will call at all stations along the route.
 
There will be an hourly train service from Oxted to Uckfield, leaving Oxted at 37 minutes past the hour. The first train will be at 05.34, the last train will be at 23.34. All trains will call at all stations along the route with the exception of the 23.34 service which will call at Buxted, Crowborough, Eridge, Edenbridge Town only and will arrive at Oxted at approximately 00.07.

Train services between East Grinstead and Oxted for Tuesday 11th February 2014

There will be a half-hourly train service from East Grinstead to Oxted, leaving East Grinstead at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour. The first train will be at 05.45, the last train will be at 23.15. All trains will call at all stations along the route.
 
There will be a half-hourly train service from Oxted to East Grinstead, leaving Oxted at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour. The first train will be at 06.15, the last train will be at 23.45. All trains will call at all stations along the route.

Rail replacement buses

Rail replacement buses will operate on three circuits:
 
Buses will operate between East Grinstead and Three Bridges, departing every 15 minutes from both East Grinstead and Three Bridges.
 
Buses will operate between Redhill and Oxted, departing every 15 minutes from both Redhill and Oxted.
 
A half-hourly Bus service will operate between Haywards Heath and Uckfield, departing from Haywards Heath at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour and from Uckfield on the hour and at 30 minutes past the hour.
