Two Arrests After Eastbourne Stabbing

Two men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the arm with a large knife in Eastbourne.

Armed police were called to Larkspur Drive in Shinewater at just before 7pm last night.

The victim, who is a local man in his 40s, is in hospital in a serious, but stable, condition.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "It is an isolated incident and police believe the victim and suspects are known to each other.

A 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man both from Eastbourne have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent."
