Battle Of The Boroughs

The competition will run on air from Monday 26th March to Friday 4th May 2012

The following rules ("Rules") together with Global Radio's ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/london/terms-conditions/ apply to the Battle of the Boroughs radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 26th March to Friday 4th May 2012 ("the Duration"). The "Radio Station" is Heart London. Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

1. Details of the Competition:

1.1 This competition will be played weekdays on Heart Breakfast. Heart Breakfast reserves the right to rest this competition or not run this competition on certain days.

1.2 To enter the competition an entrant must call the studio line to register on 0845 605 1062 between 06.00 - 9.00 Monday to Friday

1.3 Entrants will be selected by the production team, who are looking to showcase a range of areas across London.

1.4 Entries open until Thursday 3rd May at 9am.

1.5 All Entrants selected to play will be called back by the production team the day prior to taking part, to arrange for them to be available to play. If the production team cannot contact you for any reason, your entry will be discarded and another entrant selected to play.

1.6 The Entrant will be asked to answer 10 questions as quickly as they can. This will be timed. For each question they get wrong a 10 second penalty will be added. The Entrant's total time will be calculated and the Entrant will be placed on the Battle Of The Boroughs leader board. The winner of the prize will be the Entrant at the top of the leader board at 9am on 4th May 2012. If there are two or more Entrants with the same time at the top of the leader board after game-play on 4th May 2012 there will be a tie breaker before 9am. The Station's decision is final.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entrants must be aged 18 and over.

3. Prize

3.1 The prize is £1000 and a Battle Of The Boroughs trophy.

Prize T&Cs:

Open to UK residents only.

The Prize is non-transferable. Prize money will be paid by cheque. Proof of ID and address will be required prior to the cheque being drawn up. If, as a result of circumstances outside the Station's control, part of the Prize is no longer available, the Station reserves the right to substitute part of the Prize with an alternative. No correspondence will be entered into.

The payment of all costs and expenses involved in claiming the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.
