National Lottery Instants AV Burst 1 Competition on Heart Network December 2014
RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/ apply to National Lottery Instants Online competition ("the Competition") which will run from 11th December to 14th December (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Heart Network.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Nomination Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to heart.co.uk and nominate someone who deserves to win an ‘Incredible £2000 Christmas Gift’.
4. The entrant must register their own details, plus those of the person who they are nominating.
5. There is a 1000 character entry limit.
6. Online entry will open at 0600 on Thursday 11th December and close at 23:59 on Sunday 14th December.
7. Entries will be judged by the Heart Producer on their entertainment value, humour and feel-good factor.
8. The judge’s decision is final.
9. One winner will be determined by the above criteria.
10. The winner is the person who has been nominated for the prize, not the person who submitted the nomination.
11. The winner will be notified by telephone and /or email on the 15th December.
12. A call will be recorded with the winner and broadcast on air. All Entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenters and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air.
13. By submitting your story to the site www.heart.co.uk to the Radio Station you: (i) warrant that you control all copyright and all other rights (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) in and to such story and (ii) confirm the grant by you to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] of a worldwide, perpetual, royalty free license in the copyright and all other rights in and to the story (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) and you waive any moral rights and like rights you have in relation to the video; so that the Radio Station [and Global Radio] shall be entitled to use the video in any and all media at no cost to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and such use shall not infringe the rights of any third party.
14. Once the main prize has been awarded 50 runners up will be selected at random from all of the remaining entries, and will be notified within 28 days via email or phone. Each runner up (the entrant that does the nominating) will receive a pair of National Lottery Scratchcards.
Eligibility:
15. Entrants and nominees must be aged 18 or over.
16. Entry is restricted to one entry per person per round; duplicate entries will be removed.
17. The winner may not enter future rounds of the competition.
Prizes:
18. One winner, nominated by an entrant of the competition, will receive £2000.
19. Global Radio will fulfil the prize either by cheque or BACS transfer. The winner will be required to email their bank details for a transfer.
20. 50 runners up will be selected at random from all entries (the entrant that does the nominating). They will each win a pair of National Lottery Scratchcards, each of the £2 denomination. Specific Games Rules and Procedures apply to National Lottery Instants. 21. NDL will contact the winners after each burst of activity and send out the Instants within 28 days.
22. Global Radio reserves the right to substitute the prizes with another prize at its absolute discretion.
23. The £2,000 prize is non-transferrable; Scratchcards may be gifted at winners’ discretion.
