Heart network: Sainsbury's Active Kids

Sainsbury’s Active Kids on Heart Network, 2017

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/) (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Sainsbury’s Active Kids’ radio competition) (the “Competition") which will run from 2nd February 2017 to 23rd April 2017 on Heart Network (the “Radio Station”).

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

3.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to www.heart.co.uk and register their details. Online entry will open at 00:00am on 2nd February 2017 and close at 23:59pm on 23rd April 2017.

4.    Entrants will need to answer a multiple choice question. A winner will be chosen at random out of all correct eligible entrants and contacted by email.

5.    There will be 2 random draws. Draws will take place at 12.00pm on Monday 13th March 2017 and Monday 24th April 2017. Entries are rolling across the competition period with the exclusion of winners who will be removed from the pool of eligible entries for future draws.

6.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition. Entrants must be 18 or over.

Draw 1 – Monday 13th March 2017
1 winner will receive:

•    £250 Sainsbury’s vouchers

•    15,000 Active Kids vouchers to donate to their school /club

•    1 x 1-3 hour Meet and Greet with at least 1 of the Sainsbury’s 2017 Active Kids Ambassadors (either Daniel Sturridge or Ellie Simmonds) at their nominated school or club

Draw 2 – Monday 24th April 2017
1 winner will receive:

•    £250 Sainsbury’s vouchers

•    15,000 Active Kids vouchers to donate to their school/club

•    1 x 1-3 hour Meet and Greet with at least 1 of the Sainsbury’s 2017 Active Kids Ambassadors (either Daniel Sturridge or Ellie Simmonds) at their nominated school or club

7.    The winner does not need to have registered their school or club to the Active Kids Scheme for 2017 as this can be arranged for them post winning. The vouchers cannot be swapped for monetary value, and the Active Kids vouchers cannot be swapped for Sainsbury’s vouchers.  

Active Kids Ambassador Meet and Greet:
8.    The school/club will be contacted to discuss suitable dates and to confirm the session time, duration and format. The ambassador meet and greet is subject to the availability of the Sainsbury’s Ambassador.
9.    The Meet and Greet may be cancelled at short notice due to a last minute schedule change for the ambassador, but the Ambassador will offer an alternative date. The Meet and Greet must take place before 31st December 2017.
10.    2017 Active Kids Ambassadors include Daniel Sturridge and Ellie Simmonds. We regret the winner or school/club is unable to choose their preferred Ambassador.
11.    The winner's school/club must have an associated venue where they can host the Meet and Greet, and facilitate the event for the school at their own expense.
12.    The winner’s school/club must complete their own risk assessments and satisfy themselves that appropriate insurance arrangements are in place.
13.    The school/club will not receive funding to host the event.

Further terms for redemption of the Sainsbury’s Active Kids points:
1.    Active Kids points will be transferred into the Sainsbury’s Active Kids account owned by the school or club nominated by the winners of the competition. Points must be redeemed in accordance with the scheme terms.
2.    Points are non-transferrable.
3.    The nominated school, club or organization will be responsible for deciding how the Sainsbury’s Active Kids Points are spent.
4.    If the school or club does not currently have an Active Kids account Global will assist in creating an account for qualifying schools, Scout, Guides or accredited clubs.

Terms & Conditions for the Sainsbury’s vouchers:
6.    Sainsbury’s gift cards can only be used at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd as part or full payment for goods. They cannot be redeemed at sainsburys.co.uk.
7.    Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to pay for Sainsbury's Bank products, services, credit card balances and concession products. For a list of concession products please see excluded products.
8.    The initial and subsequent balances can be checked, or additional funds loaded up to £750, at checkouts in-store. The card balance will be printed on the till receipt after each use.
9.    Treat the card as cash. If a card is lost or stolen, we can cancel it to stop anyone spending your balance and issue you with a new card, but we cannot refund any balance spent on a stolen card.
10.    Sainsbury’s is not responsible for any unauthorised use of the card, and reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this service at any time.

12.    Manage your gift card by registering at www.sainsburysgifts.co.uk/registermycard
13.    The funds on this gift card/gift voucher are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent some funds on this card/voucher may not be available to spend.
14.    Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be purchased at self-serve checkouts.
15.    Sainsbury's reserves the right to amend the terms & conditions of this service at any time.
16.    Sainsbury’s vouchers are valid for 24 months.

14.    Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
