Four young men are canoeing 135 miles along the Thames to raise money for charity.

Luke Fry, 20, from Oxford, Stuart Reed, 24, from Eynsham, 20-year-old Marc Dickinson from Witney and David Williams, who's 21 and from Carterton set off from Cricklade in Wiltshire on Saturday September 3rd.

They'll pass through Oxfordshire and Berkshire en-route to Teddington - which they hope to reach by Friday.

Any money they raise on the journey is going towards Help for Heroes as all four have connections with the armed forces.

None of them have had real canoeing experience but have been getting support and advice from the Isis Canoe Club of Oxford.

As of the 7th of September almost £600 had been raised. Anyone who wishes to, can donate here.
