A pilot has died after his light aircraft crashed a short distance from where it took off in Oxfordshire.
Hampshire police say a 52 year old man is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a car in Andover last night
The incident took place as the 52-year-old pedestrian was crossing Churchill Way, at the crossing near Tesco, just after 6.30pm on Friday, October 21.
He is currently in hospital being treated for serious injuries.
The vehicle, a silver MG ZT-T, was travelling on the eastbound carriageway.
PC Matt Clayton, said: “Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Did you see what happened? I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us as soon as possible on 101 quoting Operation Trinket.”
