Have your say on where houses should be built in Andover over the next 19 years.

Test Valley Borough Council need to build 7,207 houses by 2031 as part of government requirements, with almost 600 to go in Andover.

In their Core Strategy, which is the blueprint for how they want the area to develop, they've set out where they want all these new homes to be built.

Of the 7,207 needed, the council already has planning permission for 5,171 or are in the process of getting it.

It's thought over the 19 years 690 'windfall' homes will be built. These are small scale developments like when an office is converted into flats or small buildings on people's own land are used for housing.

This leaves 596 which still need to be allocated with the council saying they won't be building in rural villages.

Have your say on the plans here until 17 February, 2012.
