Arrests After Man Dies in Aylesbury.

Three men in Aylesbury have been arrested after a man's collapsed and died in the street.

Thames Valley Police have now begun an investigating the death of the 38 year-old.

The man was found in Argyle Avenue by the ambulance service at around 8.30pm on Sunday evening (1st April), after a member of the public had reported seeing a man collapse.

He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Three men aged 52, 56 and 32 were arrested from a nearby flat and are in police custody.

A post mortem examination is expected to take place late on Monday. 

A police cordon remains in place around the scene at Argyle Avenue and Harcourt Green.

Detective Inspector Chris Inness, from Aylesbury CID told Heart:

"At this stage we do not know why the man died. I am aware of some speculation locally that he had been stabbed but there is no evidence at this time that that is the case."

Supt George Wrigley, the Aylesbury Local Police Area Commander, said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.

"Naturally, there is likely to be some speculation and rumours circulating in the local community but I would stress that there is absolutely nothing for them to be concerned about."
