The remains of 76-year-old Patricia Goodband were discovered at the home called Akeman House in Woodham last month after she was reported missing on January 9.

A post-mortem examination carried out by a Home Office pathologist found she died from head injuries.

Two men have been charged in connection with the disappearance of Mrs Goodband, who was reported missing by her daughter.

Mrs Goodband's business partner Christopher Symons, 63, from Thackeray End, Aylesbury, has been charged with murder.

The men are next due to appear at Reading Crown Court on April 22.
