Basingstoke: Unclaimed £1m Lottery Prize

26 February 2014, 08:10

The search is on for the owner of an unclaimed £1m lottery prize bought in the Basingstoke and Deane area.

The EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle Prize Remains Unclaimed in Borough of Basingstoke & Deane from the draw on Friday 7 February 2014.

Players are being urged to check and double-check their unique EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection for the chance to become an instant millionaire.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection printed on their ticket.

The winning selection on Friday 7 February was TVZ813308 and the lucky ticket-holder has until Wednesday 6 August 2014 to claim their prize1.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest the prize has generated, will go to the National Lottery Good Causes.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life.

"Being able to guarantee two UK millionaires every week with Millionaire Raffle is fantastic and we're urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.

" To help jog Lotto players' memories about what was happening on or around 7 February, Rather Be by Clean Bandit ft. Jess Glynne topped the UK singles chart at the time, whilst You Me at Six were at the top of the album chart with Cavalier Youth. Football fans may remember that local club, Basingstoke Town, were in action at the beginning of the week of the EuroMillions draw. The Dragons travelled to Hertfordshire to take on struggling Borehamwood on Monday 3 February and did well to come away with a point, from a 1-1 draw, after falling behind to a first minute goal from the hosts."

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
