Become a Sport Maker

The Thames Valley is the first place in the country to pilot a new sports initiative - to get people more active in line with next year's Olympics.

40,000 will be recruited nationwide with the Oxfordshire Sports Partnership hosting a convention at the Kassam Stadium on Monday 26th September from 6.30-9.30pm for people to find out about becoming a Sport Maker.

Sport Makers are people who make sport happen - by planning a route, finding the pitch or encouraging people to take part.

The next two events coming up include:
Sunday 2nd october - British Heart foundation Blenheim Plalce Half Marathon
Sunday 25th September - Oxford Half Marathon
