Berkshire Crew's Refugee Film Hopes

It's May 4th - Star Wars Day and after parts of The Force Awakens were shot on Greenham Common it's hoped more films will be made here in the Thames Valley.

Community based, Resource Productions in Slough are crowdfunding to shoot a short movie in Oxfordshire with a local cast and crew.

Shamas is a short film set in England and taking place against the backdrop of a mass refugee crisis.

On their Crowdfunder page, Resource say "Shamas will tap into the core of what it means to have to flee your country, to question your own humanity and above all, to survive. Ask yourself, how far would you go?"
