Boy Found Dead In River In Slough
An investigation's started after the body of a 12 year boy was pulled from the river in Slough
Thames Valley Police are telling Heart officers were called to Wood Lane in Cippenham at around 8pm on Tuesday 30th July 2013, to reports someone had fallen into the Jubilee River.
The 12 year old's body was discovered just after midnight.
Investigating officer Det Sgt Lucy Deane from Slough Force CID said: “Our thoughts go out to the family of this young boy, who has become the victim of what appears to be a tragic accident.
“The incident is being thoroughly investigated, but we do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.
“I also would like to emphasise that although it might be tempting to jump in the river when the weather is warm, there are often hidden dangers under the water and so we would advise against doing so.”
