More than 20 million cars are expected to be on the roads over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Drivers are being warned today is likely to be the busiest with delays of up to an hour and a half predicted between Junctions 9 and 21 of the M25.
Heading Westbound on the M4 through Berkshire and the A34 Northbound could take twice as long as usual.
A number of rail services will be disrupted too as more than 200 engineering projects are carried out over the next 4 days.
It will affect the line between Basingstoke and Waterloo.
