Gok Wan's spent the day in Newbury, so Heart popped along to talk charity, Oscars fashion and whether we dress well in the Thames Valley.

For the last three years, Gok has been an ambassador for Vodafone's World of Difference UK Programme.

The programme takes on 500 people each year, giving them the opportunity to work for a charity of their choice and get paid for it.  They can choose to work either full-time for two months or part-time for up to four months.

Gok Wan said: "The Vodafone World of Difference programme is vitally important as it benefits smaller charities who have limited access to manpower. It is great to see even in its third year people are so eager to take part."

While Gok was in town, we asked him about fashion triumphs and disasters at the Oscars - and whether he thought people in the Thames Valley know how to dress well!
