Henley Celebrates its Rowers
Leander Rowing Club in Henley's held a row-past and an open-top bus parade to celebrate their athletes who took part in the Olympic Games.
They had 21 rowers in the GB squad - with 12 in medal winning boats at Eton Dorney.
Despite some heavy showers hundreds of people lined the bridge in Henley to see the row-past along the River Thames and the open-top bus parade through the town.
Gold medal winning athletes Alex Gregory, his team mate Tom James from Molesey boat club and Anna Watkins took part (all pictured left).
Anna, who lives in Wokingham, told Heart she hasn't set her sights on the 2014 Games just yet;
"I have to really take some time to have a good think, it's a big decision.
"There's a lot of things to weigh up, a lot of people to consider so I'm giving myself a couple of months before committing to anything."
Among their other athletes who medalled were Richard Chambers with a silver in the lightweight men's four and Will Satch who came third in the men's pair with George Nash.
It takes the club's Olympic medal tally to 111 with previous members including Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent.
