Henley post box goes gold

Royal Mail have painted the post box in the centre of Henley-on-Thames gold in honour of one of Team GB's Olympic Gold Medallists.

Alex Gregory was a member of the Mens' Four who found success on the water at Eton Dorney lake during the Games.

The 28-year-old who lives in Henley was joined by the town's mayor Elizabeth Hodgkin in Hart Street on Friday to see the red post box transformed.

Crowds of people gather to watch and congratulate Alex, who said he would be heading back to post a letter over the weekend and show off the post box to his little boy.
